1)Have lots of bottles to practice on (not a problem with you) 2)Try to choose bottles based on glass thickness ( thicker glass works best) 3)Don’t use any glass with seams, as seamed glass tends to crack in the wrong areas. 4)When cutting the glass, try and score it quickly & evenly, and apply an even level of heat. Make sure you rotate the glass quickly so it is not concentrated in one area. 5)Don’t bother rubbing an ice cube over the score line, just place it under a cold tap.
